Can you say awkward?

Canadian comic gets....."heckled"
my15minutessays...

this one i didn't upvote 'til i saw how it turned out.

his ability to steer the crowd/mob back his way, shows some seasoning.
and he's right, it's assault.

no reason words should ever require that reaction.
even giving the heckler/amateur pitcher the benefit of the doubt. that she really has passed away.
despite that being the easiest lie to tell, to justify drunken violence.

I can't express how much I fucking hate hecklers. Pieces of human shit who have no respect for other people. You don't like the jokes? Don't laugh, and the guy will go away eventually. You REALLY don't like the jokes? Get up and leave fuckwad. Harassing someone who's doing his best is just retarded and mean spirited.

Kerotansays...

quite frankly, heckling a comic means that you open for business as far as insults go.

if you insult the comics act, its only good manners that the comic gets to return fire and at least insult your mother, however this comedian should take lessons from jimmy carr on dealing with hecklers.

Seen him live a few weeks ago. He is actually pretty damn funny.

Even really small venue's often have someone responsible for security. I'm actually somewhat surprised someone didn't call the cops. Violence is uncalled for, even if your mother has been insulted.

^What the heckler did was not cool. And he invited it by heckling the guy in the first place. Maybe next time he should think twice before trying to play with the adults as it's obvious (from his childish reaction) that he's got the social conditioning of a five year old.

Don't be a jerk MINK..

I think the least this idiot heckler could expect was a few insulting comments in his direction. Isn't that what a standup show is actually about, a lot of the time? It's a sport, at least it is as far as i'm concerned, and a comedian is pretty happy over in britain to get some light banter going between themselves and the crowd. Like Jimmy Carr says, "I do this for a living, i fucking love it." It gives the comedian a chance to shine, and the crowd love this more than the jokes in fact. Usually the heckler does too.

This heckler is just an ass-clown. If his mother really is dead, i'm sure she was looking down on him just then beaming with pride that her pathetic loser of a son has just resorted to hurling missiles because his insult throwing didn't exactly go the way he'd planned. It's like a toddler hitting someone because for not doing exactly what it wanted.

Seriously, who takes that to heart anyway? "Mom" jokes are about as insulting as having your nipples anointed in fragrant oils. Everyone knows it, no one takes it to heart, except childish little shits and who's counting them anyway?

If the comedian had said "Go fuck yourself buddy" to a guy who had trouble achieving orgasm, would that guy scream "I WISH I COULD YOU JERK, HAVE SOME FUCKING SENSITIVITY!" and throw a chair at his face? Is it really the comedians job to know everything about a person, so he doesn't cross any lines when he's forced to defend himself?

If you can't take it, don't dish it out, ESPECIALLY to a professional.

Upvote because, yeah, you gotta give it to him for getting the audience back around after that... and b) "Mom" jokes are about as insulting as having your nipples anointed in fragrant oils." That was nice dannym... nice

Being the comic this happened to I think there should be some extra info for this video

First this was an xrated No Refunds show. The crowd was warned before they came in that this is a show that is going to go too far. At that point I had already done jokes that took on cancer, aids and special needs. The crowd was loving the show and after the assault I did another 13 mintues and then ended the show

Even if this was not an xrated show no one has the right to be that much of a cowardly cunt to do what he did. I have been jumped before but at least that is man to man...not just a missile coming from the dark

I also do not need to take any pointers from any comic about dealing with hecklers. I have been doing this for many years. I like jimmy carrs stuff but I am fine dealing with them myself.

cheers

I know some comics who live for this kind of opportunity to go pitch black.

Had he said "No wonder I went through a jar and a half of vaseline.", "I thought she was just lazy", or "I can see the resemblance", he could have put this jerkoff in therapy for decades.

How stupid do you have to be to get offended at a mother joke.

budzossays...

Fuck that guy and fuck his dead mother. If I was sitting next to the guy I woulda let him know that I don't appreciate him interrupting the show, first with his stupid, unfunny and unwelcome addition, then with his hurt feelings. You're in the AUDIENCE, just SHUT THE FUCK UP and watch the show.

Mink, don't be a moron. All is fair at a comedy show. If you're sensitive, maybe don't yell out and interrupt during the middle of an X-rated comedy act.

MaxWildersays...

Seriously, when you make a mom joke and the guy says his mother just died, you have to assume he's lying. This guy probably was, but even if he wasn't...

The single worst time you could ever go to a stand-up comedy show and heckle the comedian: right after your mom died.

Dig the visual,dannym3141-I think we can keep this guy! All you folks take a lesson from the non-linear everyonce innawhile, you can learn a lot.
