It's a weird week. I'm sad I had to put my longtime buddy, Maceo, to sleep yesterday (lots of tears), but I'm also very happy Yeardley won Best Feature. And big apologies to my good buds KnivesOut and burdturgler for having to put up with my histrionics the past week.

@Issykitty, yeah, it was hard, but it was the humane thing to do to put Maceo down. I was taking him to the vet nearly every day for subcutaneous fluids, and I was giving him (sometimes) six different medications throughout the day. He essentially turned into skin and bones. Poor guy.

He'll be missed. He was my little buddy. I wish he was here. I've never cared so much for a pet in my life. He truly was special.

Sorry about Maceo (dog?). I'm taking my cat to the vet today, and I have a bad feeling he's going to recommend that. She's very old (19-20ish).

Anyway, what's the next project you're working on?

19-20ish is a great long age. My cat didn't make it to 10 years.
