KnivesOutsays...My son is playing Brink as I type this, and enjoying it immensely.
However, he's 13, which makes him legally retarded, so what does he know.
mindbrainsays...Best one in a while.
gharksays...tuberculosis planet sounds awesome.
entr0pysays...That dog at 3:20 really does exemplify batty nuggets.
EvilDeathBeesays...Oh, quit moaning about the hats in TF2. "Who is that running at me in the distance? Is it a scout or a heavy? I can't tell because they're wearing a hat!"

True nuff to be fair, but I can't tell you the number of times I've put a bullet through somebodies tower of hats thinking I'd be awarded a headshot. They do detract from the style of the game imo, plus they shit all over my framerate...
Weapon unlocks did fuck up that "instantly distinguishable class" thing a little bit tho. Demos are either mid range monsters packing tonnes of explosives, or melee tanks, and I quite often only find out which after I've hit them with a rocket or something.
Moan grumble moan humbug. ANEEEEWAI Brink is bad, TF2 is cheaper, more fun, will probably be around longer and actually runs on AMD cards.
mgittlesays...I skeptically bought Brink day 1. I expected a lot better. A LOT better.
Yahtzee isn't exaggerating this one to make jokes. If you took my opinion after playing it for 10 hours or so and magically gave me Yahtzee's wit and accent, I'd have put out a nearly identical review.

I upvoted this much like everyone else because we can all agree on one thing. Young people are all bastards.
lord_nullsays...Only 9 shots. I'm not even buzzed.

You're not drinking the right stuff.
Chimelingsays...Too me Brink felt alittle to stiff, not as smooth as they pictured it to be.
However, Im at 1800 hours played of Team Fortress 2...
Asmosays...To give some context to the cost of Brink in Aus (where Yahtzee buys his games), Brink on Steam is 89.99 AUD (making it ~95-97 USD) and can be found for 109.99 across some counters...
For a game that is essentially multiplayer only (Hell, Section 8:Prejudice had multi + single player campaign + class based for 15 AUD ffs...) this is a blatant fucking rip.
Given the poor reviews so far, I don't think I'll even bother once it hits the bargain basement bin...

Yep. But the price of the game has next to nothing to do with the developer. If I recall, digitally-distributed games in Australia are kept at high prices to cut the Australian retail market some slack. Next stop: subsidies.
As for Steam prices, though, screw it. If an American happens to buy it for me as a gift, who's to know?
RedSkysays...I'm sure the actual prices are distributor enforced but the way they label it in USD is just shameless. A blatant attempt to mislead consumers into not realising that they are being IP screened and not actually paying US prices.>> ^Gallowflak:
