From YouTube:

These are some highlights of Mission Police Departments Finest!
This is Mission, Kansas PD to be clear.
UPDATE 7/8/2013 - The lead prosecutor for Mission, Kansas, has communicated to our late criminal defense attorney that he would like me to remove my YouTube video of the officers arresting my wife. Should I choose not to remove it, Martin states he has the ability to get a judge to sign a protective order that would force me to take it down. Martin also mentioned some type of diversion if my wife would be willing to release The Mission PD of any liability as they were only responding to the Postal workers call. When all this is over I'm moving. I don't want to even live near Mission Kansas.

After nearly two months of being told repeatedly by the Mission police that there was no dash-cam video, here it is! It's a MIRACLE we even got it. The officers in the video are Michelle Pierce & Officer Tim Gift. Special appearance by the bald-headed officer who is NOT named nor even mentioned as being on the scene in the police reports. This officer is the one who was threatening my wife with having CPS take our two youngest daughters away. This could happen to YOUR wife & daughters next if these officers are allowed to get away with this!

-HOW WE GOT THE VIDEO-
We had to have an attorney subpoena the videos of all three officers on the scene. We ALSO had our attorney request of the Post Office in writing AND in person for any video footage. We kept getting the same answer. "There is NO video!" FINALLY, My wife called the courthouse to ask about the videos. The courthouse transferred her to a woman named Suzanna at the Mission PD. My wife asked Suzanna if she had gotten a subpoena for video evidence. The woman instantly said "IS THIS ABOUT THE POST OFFICE INCIDENT?" My wife said "Yes", shocked that this woman already knew what the phone call was about before my wife could even explain... The woman quickly said, "There are NO videos." My wife then told Suzanna, "That's a LIE. I KNOW there is a video because I was THERE when Officer Pierce walked in & asked Officer Gift if his cam was on & he said yes. Officer Pierce then asked for Officer Gift's dash-cam password which he gave her in front of me!" The woman on the phone got very quiet. She then asked my wife, "So you were THERE-- IN the building?" My wife said "Yes! I was sitting RIGHT THERE!" The woman on the other end got quiet again & my wife then hung up. THE VERY NEXT DAY, our criminal defense attorney called & said he had good news. To his surprise, Officer Gift had a dash- cam video & they sent it to our attorney! Wow-- What a coincidence! =/
It's a shame we only got one video, but it's better than nothing.

Those adorable read headed moppets will charm any jury. Those cops better settle and Fast.

Seriously what the fuck is going on? You perform an illegal search and then try to disappear the video evidence? We've had this shit happening in Seattle where Dash Cam videos are constantly "Going Missing" it was a giant scandal.

It's going so far as to tell me that Dash Cams need to be unfuckwithable and only available to a person OUTSIDE the station who is elected by the public as the must trustworthy person in all of the area can be the one to take and file those videos. Also get some fucking GoPros, this resolution is shit.

I'm pretty sure the most important hiring criteria for Police these days are "Will you keep quiet when your fellow officers break the law?". Far too often, they are hiding evidence or clearing themselves of any wrongdoing.

This is wrong on so many levels.
Where are the camera footage from inside postal office?

I have kids an they do run around, their kids, Its wrong but they are kids, kids do that, They pick up what they aren't supposed to and do stuff they are not supposed to. They are kids That's what they do.

If the postal workers actually gave a hoot towards their customers then this would not have happened.

But isn't the real issue lack of customer service? Or is it the fact that 1 Government employees don't give a hoot towards its customers and 2 they are union employees.

How is it possible this is what you and you're children could potentially look forward to just taking a routine trip to the post office?

Land of the free. Home of the brave.

As disgusting as this is (I'm at 100/100 on my "fuck america" meter anyway), it will only be a few short years until police dash-cams are eliminated, obfuscated or otherwise completely inaccessible to the general public, by some such law or loophole or whatever.

So does everyone just take this shit at face value? yeah, I'd like to see the post office video too. To see what she actually did in there. I'd also like to see the police footage BEFORE they take her down. Wonder why that part wasnt in this video?

JustSayingsays...

Yeah, I wanna see the part where she hides the rocks she threw into the mailbox in her vagina.
Seriously, they checked out her crotch. With gloves.
Don't you think that's kinda uncalled for? I do. I fucking do.

Well, it's certainly better than living in a country where you get twenty years for firing warning shots. Shit, even living in Greece is better than the US, at least people there know how useless their government is and how much they're fucked right now.

Journalists like to make Marissa Alexander look innocent so they can get more click-throughs, but you can find a summary here, and scroll down to read the actual court documents that journalists are ignoring.

She knew she was guilty and that she was risking being sentenced under mandatory sentencing laws, but she still refused to take the plea deal for 3 years.

That being said, there does seem to be wide agreement that this isn't the intended type of case for these mandatory sentencing laws, and perhaps changes will result from that.

People who actually live in Greece would kill to have the opportunities people in the US have... even if they don't take advantage of them.

And there is the same as here; you can't shoot at people, narrowly missing them, in order to win an argument, and then go assault them again once you're out on bail.

I say things like FUCK THE POLICE and I get downvoted. But clearly they're assholes with power trips. Even if there are so-called "good people" and "responsible officers", the policies in place to enforce so-called "justice" are UNJUST.

Fuck you if you're in law enforcement. I'm sorry, but FUCK YOU. I don't care if you're one of the good guys. All humans suck, no one is a hero, people all have their own value system.

The fact that they're just playing this woman with comments like "Oh, you have a law degree?" "I thought you said your husband works at home?"

Just trying their best to trip her up and call out "lies". It's a frame of mind and our law enforcement puts people -- humans, just like you and me -- into this state of mind.

Law enforcement has their own state of mind and they turn it in an us-versus-them situation all the time. Because they have authority. People have bad days and police are people. If you catch someone on a bad day they do bad things. Therefore this bullshit of manhandling your fellow citizen as a policy is RUBBISH.

Oh, police lives. Oh golly, the police lives that might end if they don't act like brutes. If they go easy on us, we'll kill them!! Right? Right... BULLSHIT.
