World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Announcement Trailer

Level cap raised to 100, new world to explore, upgraded character models (finally), player housing (double finally). I don't play much WOW anymore, but I'll definitely have to check this out.

I'd heard that they've refocused on WoW, stopped treating it like a b-team project when they realized it was still their cash cow and their new games weren't pulling in the money they'd hoped.

I'm excited for this! MoP is not nearly as bad as the melodramatic masses made it out to be.

Now Diablo 3 - that was another story.

Player models are a big upgrade, would have liked to see more of them in the video. Besides that, nothing else stuck out to me...haven't played in years.

This is very upsetting to me. I had finally walked away for good after the 5th try or so. Now I have to come back and play it MORE and MORE! This just isn't fair, when can I be allowed to go outside Blizzard?!

Considering that the dragon aspect Nozdormu is the guardian of time itself, including fate and destiny, it's not really a question. The Cavern's of Time are it's dwelling place.

On a side note, ret-conning is inevitable in all worlds. Show me any story that branched off into new stories over the course of 20+ years without ret-conning. I'd be very curious to know how that's possible in a world of fiction.

So basically pre-fucked Outland...

So what's the bet, Cavern's of Time or some epic ret-conning?

Asmosays...

Umm, yeah, I am aware of Noz and his functions... =)

The point was, Draenor is Outland prior to the accidental shattering by Nerzhul. Ergo, for it to be in one piece again, I'd say you'd have to be going back in time.

CoT has proven to be an enormous boon (and a crutch) for Blizz, but to create an entire expansion around the past seems a bit strange. Particularly since Velen is installed on those islands off the Kalimdor coast. Do we end up with Back to the Future-esque meetings of the same people?

ps. I'm such a bloody nerd... =\
