A glimpse at the old republican party before it was corrupted by money and had it's interests turned to only old, rich white people. That guy knows full well the republican party will be dead nationally in twenty years if they don't stop fucking over everyone but the rich as their base shrinks every year while democratic voters grow.

I notice a trend in which every time I hear a politician speak with candid common sense, it's because they're retired.

It's as if just the act of leaving Washington DC produces clearer thinking.

I think back in the 50's, Dow chemicals, in cooperation with Walt Disney, placed some nefarious device that broadcasts around the city and muddles everyone's brain.

The republican base hasn't shrunk. And the reason it hasn't is because of nonsensical but effective propaganda on places like Fox News.

Everybody defines themselves by the kind of sex they like--especially the ones who go on about how "normal" they are, and they never seem to shut up about it either. And anyway, this guy isn't talking about gay rights. He is talking about vile, repulsive bigots, who are much more than 4 percent of the population, unfortunately. It's the bigots, not the gays, who try to force everybody else into having the same kind of sex that they happen to like.

My grandparents have similar opinions... they're kind and generous, and feel that people should work hard and with integrity to succeed. 'Republican Conservative' was once a decent fit for their beliefs, but now they end up being staunch defenders of assholes who truly don't deserve their support.

When homosexuality can be genetically "corrected" in the womb, most couples will opt for the procedure. I neither condone nor condemn this future technology. After all, it's a woman's right to choose.

While QM continues to prove how much of a douchebag he is for dismissing homosexuals purely because they're in the minority, he is right about one thing.

If the technology ever did exist to control the sexuality of your future child in the same way as the movie Gattaca, then even the most liberal parents would probably never opt for a homosexual child.

Fortunately, I think sexuality is a bit more complex than a genetic on/off switch.
