8891says...A guy in overalls named Rufus who can decapitate rabbits with a slingshot.
I give up, there can't be anything more awesome than that.
K0MMIEsays...If Rufus and the Turtle Man would get together, we'd have the best video evar.
10040says...that is the cream of human talent. It doesn't make sense
Hexsays...loooooooooong hands, wow
13439says...Impressive. Wonder what kind of damage he could do with some ball bearings.
rychansays...The fact that he doesn't sight it and the variance between stones makes this unreal. Sadly he has passed away, but not before he got recognition for his talent. http://www.asheboro.com/users/teallen/rufus1.htm
southblvdsays...WTF was that dog thing at the very end???
moonsammysays..."I do not aim with my hand; he who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I aim with my eye.
I do not shoot with my hand; he who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I shoot with my mind.
I do not kill with my gun; he who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father.
I kill with my heart."

Although the series goes a bit wayward around the middle, the ending is the best ending i've ever read. The only (yes, only) ending to an epic story that didn't disappoint me after building me up and promising me greatness. And i've read most of 'em.
(And if you want the polar opposite of this, read wheel of time rofl, that's right it's called wheel of time rofl (the rofl is important), the worst series of books on the planet)
brycewi19says...That dude is the MAN!
lucky760says...I always wondered what happened to Dennis the Menace after he grew up.
budzossays...I was pretty deadly with a slingshot as a kid. Not as good as this guy, but seriously I could hit anything within 20 yards pretty reliably. I used to buy 200 white marbles for $10 from the variety store and use those to shoot.
Aiming a slingshot is the same as aiming a bow and arrow, or even flicking a rubber band.... extend the imaginary line to your target, release. I find it easier than aiming a gun and don't need to line it up with my eye.

spoco2says...Thanks to moonsammy for actually getting me to watch this (your comment was in the best comment thing on the front page) as I love the Dark Tower series.
But that is some serious accuracy there... 'Which way would you like it to fall', oh for f*ck's sake, making a weed of that thickness fall the way you want? Insane.
StukaFoxsays...Needs more Dueling Banjos and "SQUEAL!"
swampgirlsays...I love old southern folks like this.
13790says...Does anyone else besides me like the old school Pepsi can? They should bring that back.
budzossays...I love old packaging, the Pepsi can jumped right out at me too.
14202says...He has a skill not many can challenge. He makes his own slingshots, and seems quite natural with it.
soulmonarchsays...O_O
AWESOME
14303says...Here is that weird dog image at the end of the video..it kinda creeped me out so I had to see what it was.

messengersays...Jedi mind tricks.
joedirtsays...I'm really not that impressed. We used to make the wrist rockets with bending some 3/8" rod and the sling is that surgical tubing stuff. I guarantee it had way more range and probably more accurate since it uses your forearm instead of holding it in your hand.
Though he is pretty good at the toss and hit, but that is more practice and timing than anything else. Steel ball bearings were used.
