Sci-Fi story from Many Worlds interpr. of Quantum Mechanics

This is not a good summation of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics. This is what happens when you stay up reading about it while imbibing moderate-to-inadvisable amounts of beer. (I’m sure Nia and Soren were fine in the end).

Grief can be horrifying. It can be torture. It can tear you up and shatter all the pieces of the world you spent building over the years. The world that's in your head.

Without love you would have never been able to reach this place nor would you want to.

But without this place you could never discover the secrets of who and what you really are.

Alone.

That is when you hear the music for the very first time. That's when it all makes sense. Suddenly you realize, you're not alone in being alone.

The ashes of your broken heart are swept away and you are you gifted with a new heart. A new world. A new start. A new power. A level up.

Grief. Brought to you by love, for love. You are the music and the music is you.

Don't fear the reaper. Don't be afraid to love. It's all been meant for you.

Moving this video to eric3579's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.

Rick would say grief is stupid and useless.
There are infinite versions of everyone and everything you care about, so no one and nothing matters. You can't lose them, they exist in infinite space/timelines....but some have been Cronenberged.

Speaking of a little feast, I'm indulging on a chocolate *bite* Moon Pie as we talk in carefully chosen and arranged letters of the alphabet. Mmmmm...

But MY time is worthless, so I really give him nothing.

Besides, if I'm there, and he's there, isn't it OUR time? And certainly there's nothing wrong with a little feast on our time.

If you liked this short video, I recommend you watch the TV show Counterpart, which explores similar ideas, but with only 1 parallel universe, and some people can travel between them. J.K. Simmons really shines, probably his best role(s).

There is zero evidence that anything does or can exist outside of the universe. The universe by definition contains all that exists. The universe is the totality of existence. And contains all that exists.

There can be only one.
One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do.
Now the world is gone, I'm just one.

This is like travelling "faster than the speed of light". No idea what thats about either.

Nice SF story.

According to the currently most popular simplest many worlds theory the universe splits every time anything happens at the quantum level - good luck keeping up. Also good luck "communicating" without splitting more universes.

Also its just a theory.
