r10ksays...Pixar shorts get better and better.
Lithicsays...All kinds and variations of AWESOME!
kronosposeidonsays...Aww man! I've been looking for this online every day since I saw 'Wall-E' in hopes of posting it myself. That was such a great film, and this was such a great short. It's hilarious! My son and I had a ball.
I know it's fashionable to bash the big studios by saying they produce nothing but crap that has no heart. Generally I agree with that sentiment too. However you can't say that everything they make sucks. This is a prime example. Disney has owned Pixar for a few years now, yet I haven't seen a decline in quality. Good for Pixar, and good for us, the audience.
seltarsays...this made me reeeally *happy !.. sat smiling the whole time!
siftbotsays...Invocations (happy) cannot be called by seltar because seltar is not privileged - sorry.

Dang it. And VS didn't find it.
kronosposeidonsays...This should be in the Top 15 by now. *Promote.
siftbotsays...Promoting this video back to the front page; last published Sunday, July 6th, 2008 5:24am PDT - promote requested by kronosposeidon.
Napalmsays...Brilliant.
Fjnbksays...Anyone think of Portal when they saw this?
spoco2says...Absolutely brilliant as always, I had to think long and hard before watching it, because it's kind of ruining the visit to the movies a bit for me... but then I figure I love watching their shorts and films over and over, so it probably wouldn't detract too much.
10621says...Anybody else think that someone had constipation at the very start of the film?

Sounds like a lot of stress and deliberation over a short video that wouldn't even be in the major motion picture of your choosing.
10351says...The carrot is a lie!
11807says...If Pixar made a compilation disc of all their shorts, I'd buy it in a heart beat!!!!!!!!
aspartamsays...loved it. way to take a simple concept, and turn it around into something clever.
therealblankmansays...C'est incroyable!
Throbbinsays...At first I thought all y'all were going ape-droppings over a simple cartoon, but after viewing I agree - great short!
legacy0100says...Better than the actual movie to be honest.
Movie lacked that 'oomph'.

Zifnabsays...Alive again for now.
Drachen_Jagersays...dead again
Zifnabsays...And alive again for now. Not the best source, but it's something.
AnimalsForCrackerssays...Awesome, although the audio is now slightly out of sync on my end.
thepinkysays...Yeah, the audio is out of sinc and it kills the whole thing for me. Downvoting.
r10ksays..."If Pixar made a compilation disc of all their shorts, I'd buy it in a heart beat!!!!!!!!"
Except for this one, they have.
Zifnabsays...I've swapped the source and the audio should be in synch again. I'll keep checking for better sources...
11807says...uhg, I don't like this new source, its much less quality than the previous one. I never had audio synch problems. Guess I'll have to get this on DVD when it comes out so I can watch it everyday
Zifnabsays...I've switched it back again. Tough finding a good source for this one that's going to stick around.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...Awesome. Issy and I just saw this tonight in MT. Wall*E is a great flick - easily my favorite Pixar to date. It's definitely the darkest work Pixar has ever created. Some parts are even reminiscent of Kubrick and Gilliam. Issy and I were crying like babies by the end. Emotionally satisfying and highly recommended.
MaxWildersays...Wow, I just really hate seeing this on the sift. Of course it is a great short, but this is in theaters right now. This is not just a segment of the short film, it is the whole thing. This is the definition of piracy.
I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about software/music/video piracy, but I just have way too much respect for Pixar to be ok with this sift. Maybe if it had been out on video for a few years already I wouldn't mind as much.
Go see Wall-E! It is a fantastic film, and this short is included before the movie.
Please support these talented artists!
AnimalsForCrackerssays...I'll still be seeing this as it was intended. DFT's description made my interest meter in Wall-E go up by a parsec or two. I was really hoping Pixar would start to venture in darker territory, while still being great for the kids on the surface, so 15 years down the road they could re-watch it and and find some further meaning from it that would satisfy their more-adult sensibilities and think, "Woah! I never realized that there was this or that!" All the while still appealing to their inner-kid with it's nostalgic value.
E.T. was like that for me when I re-watched it for the first time in at least 15 years.
Aemaethsays...Doesn't work for me...this video has always given me problems, unfortunately.
bamdrewsays...the crazy russian video host isn't working for me either.
(p.s. wall-e was a lot of fun. a materialistic robot-packrat as the protagonist in a story about wasteful humans destroying the world and starting all over...)
