Portal "Still Alive" In Typography

neteansays...

There is something about this song that I never get tired of hearing.

Couple that well done typography... even though it's just words on a screen I find it strangely compelling also.

mix together and voilá: 3 minutes of smiley time

This isn't a particularly good example of typography. Also the maker should know the difference between "your" and "you're".

The song is obviously awesome, but since it's already on the sift I needn't let that influence my decision to downvote.

No vote for me, as while it is indeed an a-grade awesome song, I thought the point of these things was to show every word? This missed oodles of words from the song, and yeah, that your made me cringe a lot. Making the mistake just posting in a thing like this (although that still gets my goat) is understandable, but going to all the effort of making a video like this and NOT CHECKING your spelling? Come on, that's just dumb.

"As much as I am sick of that song, that was actually quite nice." -- can we just make this the only comment in this thread and leave it at that?

No, because then more people will believe that you're is spelled your in the context it is in the video... which would make me sad.

And you don't want me sad.

Look at my puppy dog eyes already...

Why is this Portal 2 instead of 1?

This is for Portal 1, which shipped with Half Life 2. Portal 2 has been announced, but most gamers aren't expecting it anytime before 2010. This *is* Valve we're talking about here. (/geek)
