nanrodsays...And several lucky motorcyclists. And why does the truck remind me of one of those cartoon characters who see a beautiful babe and his eyes stretch out of his head.
Ickstersays...He didn't look too lucky getting out of the cab--he's not dead, but he looks messed up. Also bothered by the real lack of response on the part of any of the hundreds of people around.
Paybacksays...I'm not bothered by it. They seem to be more looking to see if they CAN do anything, rather than pure rubbernecking.

worthwordssays...optimus prime failed that transformation spectacularly
Sarzysays...Yeah, that truck driver sure was lucky that he was almost killed, probably pretty badly injured, and suffered thousands of dollars of damage to his truck. Wait, what's the definition of luck again?
SFOGuysays...To my recollection, China has NO good samaritan law. If you get involved in someone else's accidental injury, you can be sued and often are (no insurance network). The Communists utterly destroyed Confucianism and left only a vestige of interest in the self.

PoweredBySoysays...lol. Is that what you see?

Sagemindsays...Jeeze, what does it take to get someone to stop at an accident in this country??? At least someone jump up to see if the driver is okay!!
"Nope, not my problem, keep driving..., don't look back.... "
spawnflaggersays...it's for this situation that truckers in USA who are hauling pipes get a much higher "hazard" pay than those hauling regular loads. Of course they also have reinforced steel in front of the pipes, but its effectiveness depends on the speed of the impact.
he's lucky he didn't die, and could walk/hobble away from the accident, but unlucky otherwise.

Lawdeedawsays...Why has this comment not received a star...awesome point.

Lawdeedawsays...The probability that I will be hit if I stop is very high. Even when cops put out lights, cones and more they get killed helping motorists. Honestly since this is a intersection with an intersection, and areas to swerve is limited, I would not get out...not if I valued my life. (Although I agree that in a perfect situation more people should stop.)
