This might actually work. The key is the non-agressive approach and not really caring, looking away, not paying attention at all to her after the initial bold contact. Of course there's editing, a lots of it, i presume but that is a good tactic. Just be cool and aloof. Girls can't stand that after they are clearly noticed they are not getting enough attention and it drives them mad. But there needs to be some level of genuine attraction, no amount of moves helps in that. And yes, i'm one those guys that can get a free breakfast if i want to. lucky for the ladies, i don't like one-nighters.
