budzossays...Unintentionally touching the floor (or stairs) in the NYC subway with your bare hand has to be one of the bigger fails specific to living there.
Yogisays...Sheldon from Big Bang said if a stair is off by as little as 4 millimeters most people will trip.

Now all the stairs are 1/2 inch taller than they should be.
