Man shot while live streaming on Facebook

Man Shot While Streaming Live on Facebook
A man standing on a street corner on Chicago’s South Side was brutally gunned down Thursday while live streaming video on Facebook. The man was taking part in a "Facebook Live" video — recording himself and streaming the video to Facebook.

In the video, the man can be seen talking to the camera, when gunshots suddenly ring out. The man then falls to the ground, dropping the camera, which shows a gunman firing repeatedly. At the end of the video, people can be heard screaming and running to help the victim, who has not yet been identified.

News reports have said he's in critical condition, but alive.

Well it's harsh but I think Twitter, Facebook, Kik, Snapchat, younow (such turned into CP nude camgirls like stickam), and other such use should be punishable by death.

Every time someone logs into Facebook a random car instantly drives by taking them out.

But if you watch, you'll notice a hint in the license tag, "myspace-1"

:-P

..I think the internet may just be making me completely cynical.

Honestly.. I just, if this is real, I feel bad. But it just seems fake. Everything about it, we hear one gunshot, camera drops. Somehow, miraculously lands upright, not pointed at the ground. Then, we get a PERFECT shot of the gunman standing just on top of the perfectly angled camera shooting well off-screen.

That's also the biggest thing for me, apparently the guy gets shot and as he falls drops his camera, but the gunman is CLEARLY shooting at something in the distance, and not at the ground.

Yeah I thought the same. I stopped short of saying so b/c I also think "wtf was this guy even filming? A convenience store opening up? And he's pretending like it opened because he showed up so he can get wut? street cred? Sounds like bullshit."

BUT the reason I stopped short is b/c I can confirm, people ARE really this stupid and boring in real life. Getting stuck on that point makes it hard for me to believe one way or the other that this isn't real.

Try reading the article linked by @eric3579. I can see how you might think this could be fake if you don't look for any verification either way, but it was there to see before you commented.

According to the article, he was shot repeatedly while running away, he dropped his phone and ran. Stupid, but not a hoax.
