EvilDeathBeesays...It's like a reunion for Joss Whedon's favourite actors!
Enzobluesays...First Whedon creation I'm not so sure about... since Buffy.
Sniper007says...Witty Shakespearean dialog and modern culture go together like oil and water. Unfortunately, I'm a fan of the 1993 adaptation. This trailer hurts. Bad. Go watch the '93 version.
ponceleonsays...Yuck yuck yuck yuck yuck. That trailer gave me serious douche-chills. If it wasn't for Joss Whedon's name attached to this.... it probably wouldn't see the light of day.
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
Really dislike modernised Shakespeare that uses the same dialogue.
chilaxejokingly says...It's shot in sepia-toned black and white, so you know it's going to be good.
kymbossays...Boo to you all.
probiesays...Never got the appeal of Joss Whedon. It must be a 90's generational thing. While I really don't care for musicals, I did like Dr. Horrible, so I guess there's something to be said about that.
But yes, I'll echo Sniper007. Want to see the best version? Stick with Branagh.
Yossariansays...On the other hand I think Shakespeare's adaptable to most era's/settings.
I'm going to give this the benefit of the doubt for now. Although it looks more like a Joss Wheldon reunion bash than a film...
braindonutsays...This looks horrible.
Dignant_Pinksays...whaaaaat? I think it looks pretty good! I can't wait.
zaustsays...Pretentious shite
entr0pysays...I'm getting verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic: sepia is neither black nor white, discuss.
StukaFoxsays...Didn't that guy also write that thing about the boy and the girl who all fall in love and stuff and then something happens and everyone's all "Aw, geeze, that sure coulda gone better" only they say it in iambic pentameter so it comes out all classy like when the Queen farts?
He's a pretty good writer, but he's no Francis Bacon.
kymbossays...Yeah, that Shakespeare - what a cunt.
Pretentious shite
messengersays...I'm excited about this. Nathan Fillion does Shakespeare! All over that.
