Whitehouse Calls Scarborough an A*Hole over Nobel Comments

Joe Scarborough gives his opinion of Obama being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and the whitehouse responds with their opinion of Joe Scarborough.
GenjiKilpatricksays...

Barack Obama hasn't done anything. At all.
He could easily write executive orders to: stop corporate thievery, end don't ask don't tell, or proceed with war crime prosecution(aka justice). Snl summed it up perfectly.

He's a do-nothing president and hasn't earned our trust or respect, much less a supposedly highly honorable award.

I don't care if they give him the Nobel award. It's just an award. It doesn't mean anything.

But for Scarborough to say that it was given to Jimmy Carter and Al Gore because they hated George Bush, and to Harold Pinter because he hated America? That's just ridiculous.

Oh, and the bit about Reagan was HILARIOUS.

moodoniasays...

Some of the notable peace prize winners from my lifetime, there's a lot more than Jimmy Carter and Al Gore. Sorry Joe but not everything on Earth is about hating Bush or America:

Ronald Reagan? Stopped the Cold War? Yeah, but putting the USA in to massaive debt through building astonishing amounts of nuclear weapons in an arms race with USSR, ISNT, creating peace. Unless of course, you count the total annihilation of Humanity thorugh a nuclear holocaust, the peaceful way?

Can you tell whom voted for Mr. McCain last November? And whom voted for Mr. Obama in that crowd?

If I recall recent history, thanks to quite a number of individuals (under Mr. Obama's leadership), what could have been a economic depression, wasn't. I guess that isn't much, right?

I cheer the president for his award. Its an award being given to an AMERICAN. Not that all you folks outside the USA are bad people or anything. I'm sure if the Nobel had one for being 'Stupid' or 'Making War', Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney would have won several times (maybe gotten in to Guiness for the most straight times to win a Nobel award).

JiggaJonsonsays...

To the people who keep saying that he's done nothing to win the award. The Nobel people have already stated that,
From NPR:
The Norwegian committee that awards the prize said that Obama had "captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future." Committee Chairman Thorbjoern Jagland acknowledged that the award was more for Obama's aspirations than for his achievements: "It was because we would like to support what he is trying to achieve."

So do us all a favor and stop bitching about it ok ?

No one has to like what GenjiKilpatrick is saying here, but is he wrong? Don't be so quick to drink the Kool-Aid, regardless of which political cheerleaders are serving it.
