hit girl made this movie for me.
this movie got a lot of flack for it's violence and dark undertones but that is precisely why i liked it.

I'm all for action movies, blood and guts, explosions, etc. But from a 13 year old kid? She wouldn't be allowed into a theater playing her movie.

I'm sure this kid can handle it, but to me it just makes it that much harder for me to get to suspension of disbelief.

It's a super-hero-fantasy kick-but good-side-always-wins, bad-guys-never-prosper, mixed-up, blood-splattering, vigilante, mob-ass-kicking, Action-adventure film!

...and you're mentioning "Suspension of Disbelief?" -I hate that!

There are so many Tarentino references in this movie. In the one jigga linked it's the music. Love it, loved the movie.. freaking fantastic!

She's 13 now but 11 during filming, my bad. Either way, I can get suspension of disbelief in other far-fetched movies, but in this film I think I'd be watching the theater ceiling as much as the screen with how much I'd be rolling my eyes.

That's ok, I've seen enough people disagreeing with the sift to know how this one will go. I'll lick my wounds and go home.

Kick Ass is an awesome film. I had my doubts at the start of the film that it would deliver, but I was totally sold by the end. Hit Girl was definitely the best character precisely because she was so young.

@rkone: Why would you fear the disagreement of others? It's the internets so who cares, man.

I love this move, but the thing that bothers me with this scene the most is that after she reloads she only shoots like 3-4 rounds and then shes out, did she only load those mags with two rounds each, and what happened with the pile of ammo she packs in the bag before that

Wow.... Will definitely be going to the theaters for this one.

Every time I glance at the title of this post I always initially think it says "Hit Gwyneth." Not that there's anything wrong that: GOOP
