I used to have a philosophy about the neighborhood I used to live in: if you become annoyed or complain about noise at any time... two in the morning, five in the morning, whenever then its time for you to leave the mission district. Hey it happened to me and I moved out of the neighborhood somewhere less crazy and less fun.

The same is true for old people. If you are pushing your out of date ideas onto people... maybe its time to shut the fuck up and retire.

Do you think they know the ACTUAL context of the verse and willingly continue to misuse it? Or are they all just too stupid to educate themselves before speaking? Any scholar who does his work would know that Lev 18:22 and 20:13 are not prohibitions against homosexuality. (Which should be an irrelevant fact anyway, due to the fact that Christians aren't bound by Mosiac Law. But for some reason no one ever brings that up.)

I suppose it's the age-old question about zealots of any kind: Are they malicious assholes who know the truth and ignore it? Or do they truly believe their rhetoric?

I think we've got enough people on this planet already. No real need to worry about a gay couple not being able to reproduce. What business of yours is it anyway Pat if couples do/don't have kids?
