videosiftbannedmesays..."That is surreal..."
Took the words right out of my mouth. Great find.
blankfistsays...Wow, I predict top 15 for this one. My forecast: 106 points once it leaves top 15!
spoco2says...That is just awesome.
Of course I'd love to know what part of Oz this is. Recently travelled from Melbourne, Vic to Renmark, South Australia (a desert town on the river Murray), and drove through some nice dust storms, but NOTHING like this, this is just truly awesome.
I hope they switched their aircon to recirculate!
moonsammysays...Anyone want to slap on a *nsfw for a bit of swearing?
Great video. Pretty happy we don't get those where I live, though tornadoes and blizzards aren't exactly fun either.
siftbotsays...Invocations (nsfw) cannot be called by moonsammy because moonsammy is not privileged - sorry.
arvanasays...nsfw slapped.
shadowncsays...This joins "Shuttle Launch from Commercial Flight" in the "Videos that Ended Way Too Quickly" club.
MarineGunrocksays...Wow. They were going WAY too fast inside that monster.
And they'll regret that once their engine seizes on them.
poolcleanersays...Honestly, how does NSFW even apply to a bit of swearing? Who uses speakers at work to watch non-work related internet videos? If you do, you're probably going to be unemployed anyhow, so the point of the tag is lost.

Poster over at liveleak sais it was filmed by him just outside Broken Hill in New South Wales near the South Australian Border.
lucky760says...>>Pretty sure I would be driving in the opposite direction....
They were. It's just that they drive on the other side of the road in Australia.

Ahh, thanks for that... ok then, not that far from where we were in the dust storms then.
But I think I might consider NOT driving into one that big!
StukaFoxsays...Someone must have told them there was beer on the other side of that dust storm!

I was wondering about their car -- I figure the air filter would just choke up and the engine would stall out once it inhaled too much dust. But if they knew engines they could probably still bang the dust out of the filter and keep going.

Well I like to know that a video has swearing or anything inappropriate so I don't have my little children right here when I watch it. But that's just me. NSFW can also mean not suitable for kids.
Paybacksays...Kept waiting for the Mummy's face to appear and swallow Brendan Fraser.
deathcowsays...amazing, and spooky, someone needs to edit that to have a grisly "Blair Witch" style ending of blood curdling screams as they are torn from the vehicle by unseen entities
oohahhsays...#106 woot!
gypsyroversays...if there was ever any doubt about who's in charge.. mother nature or our huge tribes of apes. This is just a sneeze. amazing.
bluecliffsays...I hope they get killed. The music they were listening to really asks for divine retribution.
jwraysays...Why keep driving 60mph down the highway when you can't even see 10 feet in front of you? *eia
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Eia) - requested by jwray.
deathcowsays...Oddly enough, this storm was only circling Ayers rock in a 10 mile diameter funnel over three miles high. Extended video of the archeological dig at Ayers caught much more interesting views:

(They wear the suits because of the extreme dust.)
NordlichReitersays...I would like to know how far they make it. Because sand in the air intake is gonna break that car.
jwraysays...I'm pretty sure it would have a good filter on the intake, otherwise it would break every day from random dust.
Doc_Msays...Lol, I was thinking they should be playing Sandstorm by Darude only to realize they are in fact listening to Trance. Nice.
13509says...Hi arvana,
we are looking for someone who have the original footage of this big dust storm.
if you have know any information, please let me know.
your cooperation will be much appreciated.
