If you have the cash, its a nice way of sitting on the couch or on the deck (shaded) and web browsing and sheit. I can also see it being useful as a visual clip board for meetings and presentations or if you don't wan't to drag a laptop to work every day. I know less and less of my programs are "programs" and instead are web applications. It won't replace laptops and so if you still need the power of a full system, you will need a laptop. But not everyone does.

I see steve colbert whip his out constantly and I dunno why he jokes about it so, it would make an easy replacement for the paper he has infront of him every night that he kills a tree for. It is pretty much the perfect replacement for a clip board until we finally get epaper.
