cloudballoonsays...With Repbulican's relentless pursuit of deregulatio and infrastructure fot-dragging, it'll not gonna take long for the US to catch up to China!

C-notesays...This is so bad in China. This video barely scratched the surface. People their do not have access to the american markets so they try to create wealth by investing in property. I have a friend who rented an apartment a few years ago in a upscale building near the heart of Shanghai. 3 months after signing the lease his water pressure dropped drastically. 6 months later the apartment hard no water pressure at all. The landlord still expected the rent but he packed and moved out at night.
newtboysays...Florida is trying hard to catch up to China with near total deregulation in construction. It's so much better for businesses if they can build without buying materials and just use dirt and sticks instead of cement and rebar. No one is going to inspect it, and if it fails DeSantos will give the owners immunity.
That >1" thick rebar breaking with a mild smack was astonishing. Bamboo would actually be better.

Khufusays...It's like the same business model as the cheap fashion and electronics rip-offs you get from China, but with architecture... it's not a real building, but it looks JUST LIKE a building! you can even go inside! ..until you can't.
