SagemindYes but who do we tithe to?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tithe
kir_mokumschools, maybe?
kir_mokumas an atheist, i find this really weird.
bobknight33If you go 1 GOD further then you admit that there is a GOD.
Every decade or so science leaps forward and proves that there is something new and more complex then one could ever conceive and points ever more towards a higher power.
nanrodYou forgot to check the sarcasm box. It must be so because you can't possibly be so stupid that you don't understand the one god further expression.
Trancecoachfor example?

LilithiaThis would be an interesting commercial, if it wasn't originally an official Scientology commercial: See http://www.scientology.org.
aaronfrOK, wow. That context totally ruined this video for me

grinterIt was a little too cheesy and well produced to be anything but a Scientology commercial.
This would also explain why the sound on the "logic" bit was so Horribly done.
..I guess we know who to pay out tithings to.

coolhundsays...The power of logic. Cute.
Too bad that not even most atheists understand logic.
StormsingerYou must be new around here...![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/wink.gif)

bobknight33Quantum mechanics.
for example?
TrancecoachHow does quantum mechanics suggest that there's a higher power?
Quantum mechanics.
heathensays...It's a Richard Dawkins quote: "We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further."
I assume you don't believe in Ra, Zeus, Odin or Cthulhu. You would probably think it odd if someone were to worship those gods.
I feel the same way about whichever god(s) you worship.

cosmovitellisays...Well it suggested it to Einstein. Unfortunately, it was a smart ass Kraut called Heisenberg

bobknight33Only 1 raised up from the dead.

MobiusNice side step bob.
Good thing you still had time to reaffirm your faith to yourself.
Now, we were talking about going one "god" further...
heathensays...I assume you are referring to Jesus? There have been several other gods, predating him, who were said to have risen from the dead. For example Osiris and Mithras.
Dying for three days during the dark of the winter solstice, to then be re-born as the "Light of the World" is standard sun god stuff.
Do you want to try for another? Maybe try telling me that only one was born from a virgin - that would be funny.
Only 1 raised up from the dead.
