Anti-Anti-Gay Protesters Targeting Target

I still shudder at the thought of that supreme court ruling.

Thanks for the vid. Now I can proudly support Target. We need more companies like Target.

I went to a Target for the first time recently. I was with my friend and his daughter - thought it was funny to be in the girls section right across from the sausage & meatball isle with a meat ad on the otherside as well. Other than that - it was really busy - could hardly move around freely and the shit they had there sucked. Give me a Thrift Store over Target anyday.

Upvote for the clever song and the pronunciation of Target, but not really for the cause. I'll more than likely shop there and maybe even Walmart if it's 4 AM and I really need a bathrobe or a desk lamp or a gallon of milk or something. God, I really wish there were 24 hour Ikeas...

is it me, or is the guy singing closer to the camera saying "targé" instead of "target"? wtf?

because he's a smug asshole that thinks it's a french word

I think they are all pronouncing it like that for the chorus because it rhymes with "pay". I've heard people call it that as an alternative name before even when they know the real pronunciation.

How is "Target not people"? By every legal sense of the word, corporations have been given the power of a person. They have the same rights to sue, and to control property. They are not allowed to vote, but are allowed to sway political influence. I'm not saying I agree with this, in fact I think it's a load of BS that corporations are allowed to have the influence they do, but to say that they shouldn't be meddling because they're a corporation, and aren't "people" is really naive and short sighted. There are plenty of corporations who put in tons of influence all over the place.

I may not know the situation, but why do these people assume that the reason they backed this guy is because he's anti-gay? How do they know it's not because he wants to help target open new stores or a distribution site or what have you? This really feels like a false assumption that because Target gave money to an anti-gay candidate, Target itself must be anti-gay, and that there can be no other reason that Target gave him that money.

They're teabaggers?

Under that motto, no they're leftists throwing a temper-tantrum because not everyone supports the same agenda they do.

Yeah, those damned freedom-loving cunts. Who the fuck do they think they are?
