1. One.
2. My cat's name is Maceo. This is why.
3. I bought Maceo from a breeder in Altadena, CA. He's an oriental shorthair, and I purchased him because I live in an apartment, and there are only a handful of cat breeds that are cool with that - oriental shorthairs are one of those breeds.
4. He's about 7ish or 8ish.
5. He looks awesome. Here's proof: <img src="http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh316/blankfist/Maceo/photo.jpg">
6. Since having his front two teeth removed, he "specializes" in major LULZ when his lip gets stuck to his gum making him look like he's snarling.
7. A cat because I live in an apartment, and I refuse to walk a dog every damn damn.

1. 1
2. Marvin, as in Marvin Harrison the Colts receiver
3. I thought about getting one when I booked my next job and knew where I was going to be for 5 months (others called in rooting myself in LA) anyways I found young on craigslist and I went to see him. The gentleman, who was not English as a first language type, brought out a soaking wet shivering cat. He assured me it was an indoor cat. Then brokenly explained that he had just finished taking the cat for a walk in the park and then gave him a bath. He looked at me for a moment. "He indoor cat" I was assured. At this point I figured I had to take the kitty if only to get him away from this guy.
4. Slightly over a year
5. A tabby so orange with white spots and a surprisingly fluffy tail considering the rest of the body.
6. He likes to head butt. Like to wake you up in the morning. Also I had a girl over once and the cat unbuttoned her pants and pulled down the zipper. He's a good cat.
7. I like dogs and cats, but I work entertainment hours in the city so a cat seemed more sensible.
8. TBD

I have zero cats, because I am allergic to them. However, I have 2 German Shepherd dogs - they are worse than cats! I love them to death, and I couldn't imagine not having a dog any more.

When they are unruly and drive me nuts, I tell them I hate dogs and that I am a cat person! I don't think they believe me, though.

My favorite cat video is Battle for the bed - because it has a cat AND a German Shepherd! =)

1. One
2. His name is Yoshi. He was named after Super Mario's pal.
3. Bought him from a Ragdoll breeder in Temecula, CA.
4. 5 human years old. (How long is a cat year?)
5. You can see some old pictures of him here with his little brother Kiko.
6. He has no interest in cat toys purchased from the store. He loves chasing crumpled up pieces of paper (like post-it notes) around. He hates soft, furry things and loves laying on cold, hard things like plastic and cardboard boxes.
7. Cats are very clean (especially where it matters most) and can be left alone, but if raised properly you can still feel like they really dig you as their daddy or mommy.
8. None. Yoshi's not on here.

Isobel (4 y/o) and Frankenbutt (7 m/o). Isobel is named after the Bjork song, and Frankie because a Raccoon attacked him as sa stray two week old kitten. We got him to the vet and they shaved him, amputated his nerve damaged tail, and stitched him up. His butt resembled Frankenstein, so that became his name. Issy was from an adoption service and Frankie was a stray.

My avatar is Frankie, Issy's avatar is... well... Issy.

Issy is an independent, fastidious, immaculate, cat, of discerning taste. She loves to play fetch and horde huge amounts of bottle caps in secret nooks and crannies around the house. She will also topple any empty plastic bottle she encounters.

Frankie is a cuddler and tireless rascal, constantly pouncing on Issy, whether she is in the mood or not. He is very skiddish of strangers and certain types of noises. He is also a bit of a slob, leaving a trail of cat food and kitty litter wherever he goes. He loves to be picked up and will stay on your lap for quite a long time purring, and giving generous amounts of kitty kisses.

No cats, but they are fun critters once you get to know them.

Nothing like dogs. Not good, not bad, just how it is.

I had a friend who, when he was a kid, used to think that cats were the females and dogs were the males of the same species.

Both my mom and dad, who used to hate cats, now have cats of their own. They love and dote over them, telling me the funny cat stories that we all have.

I had three cats once in my life: Sophie, Otto, and Hoss, but I had to get rid of them after a love affair went awry. Regret it to this day, losing the cats, not the affair.

1. 2
2. Gavin & Stacey, named after the programme of the same name.
3. We bought them from a strange woman who lives on a farm, she advertised them on gumtree.com. When we got them home we realised they were riddled with fleas and spent the next week being massacred by thousands of the little bastards. Following the intensive flea treatment there was a carpet of corpses to clear up all over the flat for a couple of days.
4. They're about 6 months old and completely mental.
5. Here they are... http://www.flickr.com/photos/27384130@N08/2710592965/sizes/o/ and here they are just after we got 'em... http://www.flickr.com/photos/27384130@N08/2711403768/sizes/o/
6. Specialities include relentless chatter, climbing into any bags, boxes, tiny spaces etc, and headbutting.
7. Easy to keep, extremely clean and beautiful little creatures.
8. The slinky cat taking the stairs is a winner.

What's so crazy about that? It's logical... well at least it was to me when I was a kid.

1. Two
2. Bianca (aka Miss Piggy, because of the piggish noises she makes) & Macchiata
3. Animal shelter, they were rescued from a lab that did tests on them. They seem to ok tho, no apparent physical or mental damage, guess they got lucky
4. About 4 years old now.
5. Here you go: http://i38.tinypic.com/30cpugm.jpg
6. They hunt every insect no matter how small. When in reach, they will lick your fingers and toes as if they were made of cat food (no clue what that's about). Bianca will start purring as soon as she sees you.
7. I grew up with cats who got really old and were part of the world as I knew it.
8. Probably the one with the Raccoon stealing food from a cat, but there are too many cat vids to be certain.

Deano says...

We have a Burmilla cat called Austin. He's my sister's cat so she chose something that was pet-like but different.

She bought him from a breeder from up north (of England). He'll be 2 in April.

This is a picture of him that I love taken when he was less than a year old.
http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/18048/P1000124.JPG

He's not a cuddly cat and won't sit on your lap but he likes company and will attack exposed toes. I never used to get cats at all but when my sister bought Austin I realised they can be pretty cool.

Favourite cat vid? This one, no question;
