YouTube Settings GONE!! (on embeds)
I was just watching a few YouTube originated videos and noticed that all the control options, including the YouTube linkback has been removed. Other than the volume control, I can't access Start, Stop, Pause, Settings, Full screen mode or the youtube link.
Was this done on purpose?
Am I the only one seeing this?
Very disappointed is this is a new "Feature"
I'm a firm believer in linking back to the source so we can read YT comments, and provide source details if we reuse the link.

I'm thinking it may be you. I can see the options. Although they do disappear after a second of the video playing and don't appear at all until i start the video, but it's always been that way im pretty sure. Have to scroll over the video for them to reappear.

Of course maybe im misunderstanding what you're referring to as im not sure what 'on embeds' is about.
There's a 'show player controls' toggle for embeds which does this. Why? Uhhh...
You can probably still control these embeds with right-click.
I have had this issue for ages. I thought I knew what was causing it but I can't seem to get to the bottom of it.
The controls still work but they're just invisible.
...just presented the last couple of weeks.
Most recently is has intermittently, rarely, and temporarily resolved.

@lucky760
help?
Nothing's changed on our end. The embeds are displaying now how they have for years.
Perhaps it depends on your browser and/or the specific videos?
Some quick web searches show that the "Https Everywhere" add-on can create this effect, but it's not the root cause as I'm still affected when I uninstall the add-on.
Sometimes see this problem in a few YouTube videos. I don't use https everywhere.
Thank god, I thought I was the only one, started for me a few weeks back. I use Firefox normally, I haven't tried using anything else yet for contrast.
