I can't believe they have such a simple bug in their massive billion dollar system! Believe you me, if we were acquired for $1.65 billion, we would work our butts off and DEFINITELY... uh, probably... yeah, probably still have a few minor bugs...

Just hand the whole site to lucky and everything will be fixed within an hour. Im pretty sure of that.

I found other geeky things with YouTube and I guess Flash in general under FireFox 2.0, like for example I always like to put a music sift on Play while commenting on another video in the Sift, using tabs in FF2.0.

However I noticed that if the tab is open and there is no YouTube window present within the user's view, the video in the background tab would not play. But if you scroll just enough to see a bit of the YouTube window of the video you're commenting on, even on stop, the background tab works. This is how I listen to my playlist while commenting on other videos.

This is what doing QA testing does to you.

Either am very attentive or simply crazy now.

I think that was a design choice by the FF team, I too have noticed it. I also like to do it with stand up comedians. They probably decided that limiting audio to flash that was on screen would irritate less users.

Yeah, farhad, I've noticed that too, but with FF~1.5 too - the weird thing is it only *occasionally* kicks in. Irritating as hell when it does happen. Weird.

Listening to the very awesome Pachelbel Rant right now - fortunately it's working the "right" way instead of the 'buggy feature' way right now.

It used to not like URLs either.
