Wonkiness

Some of you might have noticed the site was offline for a little while a short time ago.

I was trying to intimidate SiftBot into fixing a few things behind the scenes, but it doesn't seem it's all done yet. You may notice minor issues with channels randomly strewn across the site. If you do, please feel free to report them here then do your best to ignore them and continue on with business as usual.

We'll get everything working asap.

Does this have anything to do with the fact that I can't view ANY videos here? I see the thumbnail, but when I open to view I get a blank space where the vid should be.
I'm running the latest Flash and FireFox 3

[edit] never mind, must just be a YouTube issue, I can see Google and other sources.

Yeah, channel assignments are pretty weird. On all video listing pages, the channel assignments for the first video are repeated for all other videos, but the correct channel is shown if I go to an individual video page.

Siftbot just failed at sifting I think...yeah, same, yesterday and today instances of youtube only videos not showing and now everything on the front page is

wtf
howto
documentaries
gay
sexuality

Which does look kinda funny
I just want to add "Lies" and it will at least be accurate

^Same here as what jonny said. All the vids in someone's pqueue listing had all the same 4 channel tags as the first video, and I noticed the same in my own pqueue listing.

I noticed that in the sifted tab, it looks like all the videos have the same channels as the first video. Same thing in the unsifted tab and the beggar's canyon.

Seems like any kind of video-modifying is causing database errors now.

"
We apologize for the interruption in service, but an internal error has occurred while interacting with a database. (Unknown column 'post_channels_cache' in 'field list')"

Hmm, I am still seeing channels (e.g., election08) that I filtered on home page and my submission queue list. Still not fixed to me!

I've noticed a new problem, videos aren't showing channels that are added by members after the video is queued.
An example is here, it should be in three channels but I see it in zero.

Should be working now.

>> ^twiddles:
"Newest Channel Talk Posts" list shows all as Geek.

Fixed.

whose dick do i have to suck to get my question answered? I was under the impression that if the video was submitted under 2 weeks ago, and published under 4 days ago AND has enough votes, it should be on the top 15

FAQ:
This sidebar selects videos with the most votes that were last queued within the past four days and originally submitted within the past two weeks, then lists them ordered with most votes first. If you think a video should be listed but isn't, it is either because it was queued more than 4 days ago (hover your mouse over "published by" to see a sifted video's queue date), was originally posted more than 2 weeks ago, or it does not have a high enough vote total compared to the other videos listed.

maybe i'm reading into that wrong.

Rrrrrr. I hate necroposting but I also don't want to spam your profile, lucky. Here's hoping you'll see this:

I'm afraid something's wrong with the Unsifted listing order when I opt for best votes-to-views ratio. Here's a screenie:

I do hope it's easy to sort this out. By the way, listing for worst votes-to-views is also fairly incorrect, although not so glaringly obvious as for best ratio
