Won't Let Me Change My Country
I would like to select my country so that I can wave my fruity flag high and proud but it keeps telling me "failed to save your preferences - please correct the indicated errors" but it won't tell me what the errors are.

San Diego isn't a country, dipshit.
So..., how is it that you put the wrong country to start with?

You know "Jesustan" is just a concept?
No one cares where you're from, douchebag.

I'll pass this on to Lucky. Who is on vacation.
I had some of the same issues with my general profile stuff, try changing the tab and make sure that your browser hasn't filled out half of the "new password" dialog. Then it would make this error. Just delete whatever it has filled in, and not confirmed, and it should save properly.

It's because we've been vatching you, liepshin.
aren't you some kind of black, hispanic, guido, jew hybrid? america doesn't want you.Did you get this to work?
The most common (and actually only) cause for that in the past is when you have auto-complete turned on and your browser is filling in your existing password into the first "new password" field of the last preferences tab titled "Login." The "confirm password" field is not also being populated, so the submission error is that you appear to be trying to change your password without entering anything into the confirmation field.
The solution, assuming that's your problem, is to either:
a) Turn of auto-complete
b) Clear the auto-completed password before clicking the save button
