TopHundredVideos.com Launch
Hooray, it’s here! Our end of year project to nominate and vote on the top hundred videos of 2006 has been completed and launched. You might be surprised at the ranking, and I’m sure we’ll have some great discussions about it here. Thanks to all of the Cabal members who nominated, voted and left video descriptions
We’ll be re-enabling the *nominate invocation for Gold stars in January, for the best videos of 2007, and instead of leaving the nominations a mystery to the end, we'll be updating them to the tophudredvideos.com site.
Also, if you feel the urge to help us with a bit of promotion, please Digg and Reddit it. ;-)

The videos mostly stink. What kind of place is this? Where is the return of Numa Numa? Where are LonelyGirl and the lip-synching teenagers? Where is all the College and the Geek that PC World promised me?

It was very interesting watching the cabal members vote for videos without any idea of how everyone else was voting. I was kind of but not really surprised Jake's ukelele video wasn't higher rated because it's really great but there is a lot of resentment for his immovable kung fu grip on the #1 slot here.

We enjoyed your presence as will everyone who reads the video descriptions on tophundredvideos. For everyone's information, it's not a far stretch to say that LB contributed the majority of them, and she did it very well too somehow!

KrupoLucky, speaking of the descriptions, think you could edit those videos so when you view all 10 videos on a given page, the descripition also appears without loading up the video's individual page?
I think that would be useful.
