SiftUp in The OC

luckydag

I had the pleasure of meeting Lucky and his lovely wife Charms, at the Fox Sports Grill for dinner in Irvine. This time we even had a quorum. The food was great- and we tried to keep from slipping into nerdy talk too much - but probably failed. Conversation ran from the VideoSift 3.0 launch date, to having a bi-weekly SiftCast with a featured Sifter each week. Choggie was nominated as a voice we'd like to hear - wondering if he speaks in verse.

Tonight I'm winging my way back to Oz - Goodnight America.

We really had a great time dining and gabbing with Dag. For anyone wondering, he's really great company in person, even moreso than his online persona lets on.

Some day we're going to have to hold a major SiftUp where at least a couple dozen Sifters can meet up in one central location... and then take over the world. Where might be the best location for such a SiftUp?

Awesome look Dag hehe! Sounds like a great meeting and looking forward to working with you on the SiftCast.

I have to say New York or San Fran. Personally I'm 2 hours from NYC, so much fun to be had there!

Chicago, I could do Chicago... or Detroit... but I don't think you guys want to go there.

Seriously though, I'm always surprised how you look totally different in all of your photos Dag... you could be a master of disguise without even trying.

Detroit? wtf choggie you trying to get some sifters shived? Chicago! and it has nothing to do with the fact that I am only 4 hours from there.

also, now I know why you use the nickname Lucky

I figured it out, I was watching JFK and it made sense. Dag was the one on the grassy knoll! I haven't got all the pieces worked out but it's gonna blow the top off this whole thing! I'd do Chicago but having moved just a few months ago there is some great skiing in Salt Lake and a wicked film festival in St. George (Sundance anyone?)
