Possible to use videosift without adobe flash
Don't have flash installed on this pc, but I can still view all the youtube videos,
so HTML 5 is nice, but that means i can only watch videos here from youtube.
so, now I've told you all.

How can one set their browser up to do this rather, how can one do this on a pc without adobe flash and be all like you? (for idiots)
Really am interested. Never knew you could by-pass the hoo-ha!
@marinara I think that has more to do with the hosts decisions, not VS's, on what uses flash vs. HTML 5. I agree, Flash is going to way of the dinosaur, but we all don't know if that death is going to be 1,5, or even 10 years down the road.
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
You can set your user-agent to safari mobile, and pretend to be a mobile, flashless device. Vimeo works too.
@darkrowan - It was our decision to support the HTML5-based iframes of some hosts. If we didn't do that, no videos would work here without Flash.
@marinara - There are more hosts than just YouTube that you can watch without Flash. In addition to YouTube and Vimeo, we support College Humor, Funny or Die, and Daily Motion.
@the guy who asked how to do this...
well, I reinstalled my whole operating system.
besides, it wasn't a good experience. some real problems playing videos even you found a video that supported flash
Sometimes flash uses 105% (or more) of my CPU processes all by itself. I don't remember videos doing that "back in the day."
