Are you definitely logged in when those errors happen?

This happened to me the other day. I was trying to upvote a video on the front page but kept getting that error so I opened the video in a new tab to see if I can upvote it from the video page but then I notice that I am not actually logged in, but on the front page it looks like I am logged in. I just closed the front page and logged in again on the other page and that fixed it for me. That was the only time I have seen it though.

If you are so technically inclined, could you please copy the vote arrow link URL the next time it happens and send it to my profile so I can investigate?

Really weird that it's just happening to you. Maybe you did something to make siftbot angry. No one likes siftbot when it's angry.

After reading thegrimsleeper's comment, this sounds like you're not logged in at the time you clicked the vote arrow. Reloading usually resolves that issue. Do you connect with Facebook or just standard login?

I don't have any problems voting and I only get logged out when my user agent changes.

However, when I do get logged out, the front page looks like this (gallery mode).

The facebook login and the regular login can sometimes get into a bit of a fight, which screws you over. Refresh a couple of times, or log into facebook itself and then go to videosift, then it will be logged on.

I also had that problem for a couple of days, and noticed logging in again fixed it for me. Like what thegrimsleeper said.

I'm having issues with videos I'm sifting playing all on their own while checking to make sure they haven't already been sifted, and right after sifting.

And I don't think I typed sift enough...sift sift sift sift.

I never login through facebook.

This has happened on and off for well over six months, logged in or not. I will copy/paste the vote link next time it happens. Thanks for the help.
