cool video, though the lady seems to have no idea what the term "useful information" would mean. Like the fact that there are two people which doesn't get said till the very end and perhaps, their height, clothes beyond the white shirt, etc. Stressful situation but basic stuff. All's well that ends well though. Wonder if she got her other stolen stuff back now that they caught these guys?

God, her play by play commentary is atrocious. This needs like a Mexican soccer announcer or those guys from the Danny Hart mountain-bike racing video.

Also, FUCK your son's Wii video game, tell the dispatcher he's got a crowbar. Favorite Part: "I'm sorry I can't calm down, I've just been robbed of everything!"

deathcow says...

Funny, Transporter "I see they have a crowbar, and GUNS!"..... "If you shoot 12 inches to the left of the sliding glass door handle you can get one right now!" "Shoot high, my cat is nearby."

jcf79 says...

I guess from now on she should just give up her career, buy a gun, and wait for the next time someone tries to burglarize her, 'cause nothin' says republican like paranoia and over-reaction. And, just so you know, they prefer to be called Democratic Americans now...
>> ^quantumushroom:

How sad that a camera had to greet these Democrats instead of a gun owner.

Yeah, it's as if she's all, like, scared or something. You'd never think that she comments on live home-invasion video feeds for a living, would you?

Porksandwich says...

Thing that would drive me nuts as someone taking the call. You can hear her tell them there's a black man in her house. You can see two people multiple times, but she never corrects that for a long period of time.

So when the cops are there and they are running all over inside the house trying to find a way out. She says there's two, but then she says "Now there's one". They have no idea she's commenting on what she sees right at that exact moment or where her camera is, but how many distinct people she's seen in the house seems like a pretty important thing to make sure you communicate properly.

I have to wonder if she sits at work all day and just watches her house, or if it alerts her when there's movement.

quantumushroom says...

Well, we know she's not a Loyal Democrat cause she's at a job or a vacation from a job.

I've been lucky never to have been burglarized. I understand--without really understanding--the feeling is that of being raped, violated. Maybe the islams really do have the right idea about what to do with thieves.

@quantumushroom

I have to disagree. The 2 Democrats in this video were simply 'decolonizing property' and redistributing it back to the community. Then the cops came in with violence.

Nexxus says...

That wasn't even a robbery, it was a simple burglary. She was freaking out like her life was in danger

This video and your comment make me want to buy a CCTV setup for my house so I can someday be that announcer.

lucky760 says...

"My dogs are hiding." Sounds like she needs some better dogs.

I feel very happy for her that she was able to bust their asses. Still, the violation has got to be horrendous.

jcf79 says...

Heresy, QM, that is outright heresy. If the Islams (though most people, people who know what they're talking about, call them Muslims) had their way then how would we ever have a Wall Street? I'm reporting you to the committee on unamerican activities, you know, as soon as it get's formed... again...

yeah, fuck a proportionate response. Someone commits a crime? Fuck it, just shoot them. This whole "due process" thing is a waste of time.

You really are retarded.

Deano says...

Cripes the cops got there quick. And yeah, lay off the lady, she's panicking.

Perhaps she's a little TOO on the edge but I've seen tv shows where they pretend to burgle people's houses while the owners look on via CCTV. They almost always start weeping and feeling distressed. Doubt I'd be much different.

Good for her that she installed the camera. I'd imagine it notified her based on motion.

Whaaaa? Come on, I was only joking. Quantummushroom is the reason you hate VideoSift.

Very disappointed that QM hasn't found some way to bring abortion into this. Poor form. Sometimes I think you're not even trying.

VoodooV says...

QM sinks to new lows every day. Seriously, how is what he does not trolling/hijacking? He doesn't contribute AT ALL
