I don't get cat people. or dolphins.

It's amazing...at first glance it seems like two animals playing together, but then you realize the dolphin is WAY more intelligent - like chimp intelligent - and that the dolphin is playing with the cat.

It's still two animals playing together. Humans are more intelligent than either (although the way I'm at my cat's beck and call would suggest otherwise) but someone swimming with dolphins or tickling a cat is still playing for both of them.

And that's a good thing.

It's the dolphin petting the cat, actually. Probably a learned behaviour from watching people on the boat do the same.
