a couple of those did look like inattentive pedestrians.

Man, if someone jumped on my hood and broke my windshield, I would stop, turn off my dash cam, beat the living shit out of them, then turn the cam back on.

I'm not entirely convinced a few of these weren't suicide attempts.

If I saw someone continuously throwing themselves at automobiles I would get a couple of the guys together to pin him on ground and await authorities. How do you just stand around watching that shit happen?

I wouldn't call it "feigning" when you are actually hit AND run over. Even if it was the pedestrian's intent and fault.
