William Shatner Doesn't Like To Be Corrected

Famous moment from the Star Trek days where the director tries to get Bill Shatner to pronounce 'sabotage'. Shatner at his best/worst.
Kreegathsays...

If this is his best/worst, then he's one well-mannered man. He's not chastising or barking at the director, he's just calmly explaining how he pronounces a word. It's not that unheard of or outrageous, is it?

So... On the Bill-O/Bale richter scale, the magnitude of Shat's hissyfit was about a 0.2? Hell, I bet Nimoy's Spock had a bad day resulting in an off-camera "unprofessional moment" amounting to more than that at least once in his tenure on Trek.

Well he sounded annoyed so yeah, it didn't sound like he wanted to be corrected. This also shows that even "at his worst" he holds his cool.

I don't think the point of the video was to watch some actor freak out.

Holy shit, this is your idea of "DOESN'T LIKE TO BE CORRECTED" and "at his worst"???
Do you ever even watch the videos you submit???

Is that a hint of his Canadian roots?

no. He's from Montreal so he should know how to pronounce french words... But if the Shatner pronounces it this way we obviously should make it canon. This man will be Governor General one day...
