Trump Resigns From SAG After Move To Revoke Membership

President Trump is resigning from The Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists after they threatened to expel his membership from the union after the Capitol riot -- to which he said, "Who cares!"

The former president's letter of resignation Wednesday comes after the SAG-AFTRA board voted "overwhelmingly" that Trump violated the union's membership guidelines in the wake of the Capitol riot.

Ms. Carteris: I write to you today regarding the so-called disciplinary committee hearing aimed at revoking my union membership. Who cares? Well, I'm not familiar with your work. I'm very proud of my work on movies, such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and television shows including the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Saturday Night Live and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, the Apprentice, to name just a few. I've also greatly helped the cable news television business, said to be a dying platform with not much time left until I got involved in politics, and created thousands of jobs at networks, such as MSDNC and fake news CNN among many others.

Which brings me to your blatant attempt at free media attention to distract from your dismal record as a union. Your organization has done little for its members and nothing for me, because that's always what it's about. Besides collecting dues and promoting dangerous un-American policies and ideas as evident by your massive unemployment rates and lawsuits from celebrated actors who even recorded a video asking, why isn't the union fighting for me? These however are policy failures. Your disciplinary failures are even more egregious. I no longer wish to be associated with your union. As such, this letter is to inform you of my immediate resignation from SAG-AFTRA. You have done nothing for me.
Regards

Donald J Trump

Further proof that him being president had absolutely nothing to do with him being a pompous, narcissistic, lying ass.
"...one of the most successful shows in television history, the Apprentice..." Really? Just like that "most highly attended inauguration," huh Donald Jenius Trump?

On another note, reporter needs to brush up on his reading/speaking skills...

I'm constantly writing long winded letters on official letterhead, printing them out, then mailing them out, to exclusively people I don't care about. Yeah okay donny boy.

Maybe it wouldn't be a "nobody likes me" situation if you weren't such an asshole.

Trump resigns from SAG? Now he doesn't need to act stupid anymore and just let his hair down and be stupid naturally.

luxintenebrisjokingly says...

that seems short-sighted.

if any person should be in sag group it should be gabby goo. his neck waddle resembles a camel toe when he wears it up in a tie. he should bring mitch in as a pledge - - -?

oops. i am told sag is for the screen actors guild.

i thought it was a support group that really needs support.

nevermind.

[although it might be a nice touch if they sent him a THANK YOU! note]

That was the exact, and only response to this letter....a public ”thank you”.
