Ghetto, i know, but hey - IT WORKS.My last tallbike was just under 10ft tall at the seat and you can see us featured in 30 Seconds to Mars' music video, "Kings and Queens" -

PaybackFAKE! Those cops weren't shooting at him. Hell, they weren't even trying to body slam the frame.
hpqpLove the contrast between the rugged sport-gloves and those fabulous tights.
Oh, and that bridge passage definitely earns this a *FTW (although I really wish he did have some chalk.)

antGnarley, dude.
Zaibachsays...I'd throw a 2by4 in the front wheel.
For science of course.
effin98says...That bike's just stoopid.
articianNever thought I'd get vertigo from a bike.
zaustI hate cyclists and no man in LEGGINGS will ever get an ounce of respect from me.
Altogether? given the chance I'd stop my car, get out and physically run into his stupid road hogging bike which couldn't stop.
sirexsays...fuck that, i broke a vertibre from a 12ft drop as a kid.
Mammaltronsays...A 14.5-foot drop onto concrete with no helmet is going to ruin your day. And your ability to walk and toilet yourself.
hpqpPlease, for your sake and the sake of others, go get therapy. Preferably with voluntary internment, until you sort out your aggressivity and thinly veiled homophobia (or FashionPolicitis, whichever).

PaybackActually, he wouldn't fall straight down, he would get a lot of horizontal velocity and ultimately hit at about the same speed as a 6-7 ft fall. With a good tuck-n-roll, maybe a broken bone worst case, pulled ligaments probably.
I assume he's ridden (and presumably fallen off of) bikes like this before, only shorter. There are several people riding around him on bikes that are in the 5-6ft tall range.

LiquidDriftsays...I always thought those super tall bikes were dumb until now. Looks like so much fun!!!
HasturNo. His vertical speed would be the same regardless of whether he fell off the bike straight down or it fell over. Physics FTW!

PaybackNo, the bike frame would decreasingly oppose his downward acceleration until about 30-40 degrees off the pavement. It would be like sliding off a (very slippery) 14.5 ft radius pipe, half-buried in the ground.

HasturActually, doing the math for the tangential velocity of a falling rigid rod, I think we were both wrong.
(An exercise left for the reader...)

TheSluiceGateWhy did that make me so damn happy?!!
Fletch@Hastur's rigid rod and @Payback's slippery pipe have left me very confused.
chingaleraCan't stand when they slow cars down with their attitudes (both road-position and temperament)-Nothing quite a fashion Faux pas either than an Ectomorph in skin-tight spandex....Agreed.
Please don't ram one though; You'd experience an instant and lingering hate for yourself should you ever decide to execute such a fantasy....
