"We Are All Connected" was made from sampling Carl Sagan's Cosmos, The History Channel's Universe series, Richard Feynman's 1983 interviews, Neil deGrasse Tyson's cosmic sermon, and Bill Nye's Eyes of Nye Series, plus added visuals from The Elegant Universe (NOVA), Stephen Hawking's Universe, Cosmos, the Powers of 10, and more. It is a tribute to great minds of science, intended to spread scientific knowledge and philosophy through the medium of music

The greatest thing about these videos is how they manage to be ironically funny as well as emotionally and intellectually engaging at the same time. That's rare.

*humanitarian just because their focus is on educating the layman on the wonders of the universe. I remember almost tearing when I first saw Cosmos in a high school physics class.

I never grew up on karl sagan, so i only know him from the sift, but i always thought he reminded me of something in the style of his speech. And that's it, you've hit it. He reminds me COMPLETELY of kermit.

The first time I saw this video, I was a first year law student, lamenting that I hadn't taken the road not traveled. For about a week straight, I would play this as soon as I woke up to get right and face the day. Sometimes it brought tears to my eyes. Right now, I am writing this message in my high school science lab, with the video playing up on the overhead. My students asked me why I became a high school science teacher when I have a license to practice law. This is my answer.
