Yeah, so I guess HTC must be amazing artists. I'm not too happy about the lawsuit.

This is quite worrysome in general outside of Apple trying to squeeze money out of HTC. Nokia and other phone makers have been going at it over some of the most trivial bullshit I could possibly imagine. Really it is a case of the patent system being broken and (insert company here) taking advantage of this. IANAL but I believe say you have a patent for a design/system in 2002, but (next big thing) happens in 2003 and everyone is doing it you can tack it on to your 2002 patent and then sue the shit out of everyone else.

Who can you trust anymore? None of these big companies are out for the good of the consumer, no matter how much you want to believe otherwise.

A fantastic interview with an incredible man, just, the best talk I've ever seen. It is simply superb how his words are recorded here forever. Incredible, beautiful videography. Superlative turtle neck in an unsurpassed color choice. His optical wear is unlike any I've seen before, it is completely amazing.

HTC were doing smartphones long before apple was. I'm surprised they don't have a few choice patents of their own lying around.
