Sagemindsays...wow - that's crazy!
dooglesays...Get the latest copy of Entertainment Weekly off the shelves, for only $29.99 with a 3 year subscription.
I'm going to buy one unlocked off eBay.
Disclaimer: This magazine under Airport XRay scanners may look like a bomb.

...I like to tape a transistor radio to my chest with the wire for the earpiece coming out from under my collar to my ear....TSA loves to ask me what the fuck, I tell em it's the top of the sixth, cubs ahead by two...
ponceleonsays...So basically they had 100,000 blackberrys that were going to the dump and they figured out a way to rig them into a commercial!
Gotta hand it to them, that's pretty amazing.
Reefiesays...I just bought an issue from a UK distributor but they're selling out quickly! http://www.newsstand.co.uk/140-TV-and-Film-Magazines/1872-Subscribe-to-ENTERTAINMENT-WEEKLY-Magazine-Subscription.aspx
antsays...Crap, I got this issue and I tossed it. I didn't even know that was there! I do remember those ads pages, but not its video.
Are they spying on us?
antsays...*geek
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Geek) - requested by ant.
Jinxsays...Isn't lithium kinda worth something?
probiejokingly says...Well, now we know what RIM is doing with all it's extra stock before they fold.
spoco2says...This shows two things:
1) Unwanted mobile phones are stupidly cheap
2) Print media has to do pretty outlandish things to get people to buy them
Zaibachsays...Not only it's a waste of paper, but it's also a waste of electronics..
spawnflaggersays...really neat video, but the audio was annoying as hell. these 2 mashable morons were the electronics-geek equivilant to Multiple Homosexuals Witness a Fire.
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
Finally we know what purpose all of those Blackberries mouldering on store shelves have been put to. And these guys aren't exactly iFixit - that's for sure.

It's a knockoff android. Just sayin.
Reefiesays...Either warehouse staff at distributors have been removing these inserts from the magazines or Mashable.com were given a special copy of the magazine. No insert in my issue and same goes for two of my friends who are into geeky tear-downs like this. Also spoke to an acquaintance from Boston who subscribes to EW and she said she didn't get the insert either.
*goes away to sulk*
Edit: Have since learned that apparently there were only 1000 magazines with the insert. Ah well.
swedishfriendsays...Apparently only 1000 copies of this ad insert are out there in "upscale" markets.
