Psycho at N.C. City Council Meeting

bamdrewsays...

Wow, that looks like schizophrenia to me. Notice how he's unnable to steer what he says very well, and gets caught up shifting from ideas that are related in his head without properly explaining their relationship ("no smoking, 30,000 sets, solar-hot water panel heaters and put ice in the arena", "I went to the Smith Junior High meeting...", "...somebody had their hand in the pie." "NFL, NBA, NHL... competing tenet!"--all refering to a old meeting about an arena not housing NHL). Interesting because he's not talking absolute nonsense (he otherwise sticks to a complaint about a helicoptor that hoovered too close to his house and scared him) but he just can't put it together to explain himself. Almost has a childish level of language patterning, but still tries to talk at a pace expected of him.

"thats fine, they have a right to be scared, because thats why I'm here tonight!..."

No channels - *wtf?
How *obscure this got on the sift without any channel assignment.

Must be that rogue helicopter pilot with his hand in the pie again. (I'm getting scared - but that's okay because it's my right.)

Those who are making fun of him, or saying such charming things as "I hate crazy fucks like this."

Really need to look up the word compassion. I mean, really, you can obviously tell the man has serious mental issues, maybe it's schizophrenia like bamdrew says, maybe it's something else, but he's obviously not running with all faculties firing.

Rather than ridiculing people like this, they need to be calmly talked with, let them air their issues, try and get them to rationalize what they're saying, and get them some help. People like this are likely to do dangerous things when they get very agitated, but far moreso if they don't get understanding and compassion, but are rather ignored and ridiculed and pushed and pushed until they think the only way to get attention is to do something violent.

Think how you'd like a relative treated if they suffered from a mental illness, and then recheck what you say about people like this.

what a wussie!! Whann, I can't take living near Fort Bragg...Whann, I can't sleep..I'm sure if it wasn't a chopper he'd be bitchin' about something else.. This guy needs electro shock therapy..zap the fuzzy bunnies outta there!

^that's brave talk from someone who can't even understand the previous post in the thread. *zap the fucking retards outta here. Retardation is not a mental illness, it's a fucking lifestyle choice. Some people don't get the choice, whether chemically or environmentally, they need help... even for the selfish reason that you don't want them coming to your house with a knife and hallucinating that you are a dragon about to kill them.

it's like choggie has been gone for a few days kulpims, and you are experiencing severe withdrawals....the solid fact that the comment was up voted by 10 similar souls, gives me a tingly feeling in my nether-regions......

Mink has it. This guy is classic paranoid schizophrenic. He needs help in the worst way, and I hope it got it. I grew up directly beneath the final approach into Simmon's airfield at Fort Bragg. The helicopters would nearly rattle me out of my bed. But, I knew what they were and what they were doing. It didn't scare me. This guy is prisoner to his delusional conspiracy and is mad, and afraid. Poor guy.
