That shit looks sloppy, what with all the bouncing up and down.

This is much better. Less jarring. I might be biased, though.

I need to ask: why make them have both feet off of the ground at the same time? But I digress. When the USA starts having these kinds of parades through central DC (with fully armed and equipped soldiers and vehicles, then you can start calling out "fascism!" Until then, stfu about it.

It doesn't matter. This is simply a march, other militaries have other kinds of more or less stylized march. Basically, it's fad. Look here for the Chinese and then the USSR here. All communists, not the same march. The march doesn't matter. America is not (yet) a fascist state, but it has almost all the ingredients to become one. What will save America I think, is that she is too politically divided for fascism to become a mass movement without outside help (from something like - you guessed it - the army).

I love how they keep a bunch of tanks. When would they possibly use tanks, except maybe in some kind of anti-riot situation?

I mean, say they start a war with the South. If that happened, and I was in charge of tanks, my plan would be "we need to hide the tanks now - like, tonight". And I'd then make a phone call to the guy who was in charge of planes, and make sure he was hiding the planes. And heaven forbid they have like "munitions factories" or "weapons depots" or anything else that is a non-controversial target. All those things would be gone immediately.

There is no situation in which they would get any use out of deploying any of this - just instant rubble. If I was a North Korean soldier, there's no way they could get me to drive a tank in any kind of military situation. I would stay the hell away from anything that could clearly be identified as military equipment. But I'd totally stay with other soldiers. Groups just big enough that people would feel bad to just kill you all. The kind of group that can offer a surrender. That's the place.

Kinda moot at the end of the day. N.Korea, like China and Russia are stuck in early 18th century military doctrine. Throw a guy 2 weeks of training, and dump him in the field with a rifle and shovel. I suppose if all you want is fodder, it works well.
