The music was good but really no one person can take credit (well maybe quincy jones). Producers, writers, musicians.. everyone who made his career possible... i guarantee if you search the world over you can find someone equally as talented who will never be given the opporunity to become anything. It's just a statistical reality. It could even be you.

And that's how I feel about MJ. He had a great life. (well after the beatings and psychological trauma and such.. but hey my dads an asshole too.. boo hoo)

Ill admit I was not a big fan of Michael but his death is like the death of my childhood. Ill never forget Mrs. Candy my kindergarten teacher playing his record everyday in class, I did enjoy his early music a lot so this is a very sad day.

What a terrible thing to say. Yeah he was a weird cat, i'll admit it as much as anyone else. But I think his circumstances with his father and family played a HUGE role in what he ended up like as an adult. It's easy to say that we are all accountable for our own actions (ala' hanging your kid out a window) but some poor souls are still stuck in a loop of blaming other people. Of all the things today is, it's certainly not 'fucking awesome'

Even though he was weird and did some odd things, i can't help but feel sorry for the guy. Didn't have a great start, but things picked up for him. Unfortunately he never really grew up properly, imo. It's easy for people to sit and snipe at someone when you've never been through anything remotely similar to what they've been through.

If this was a poor homeless guy who was acquitted of touching kids inappropriately, and after an indepth look at his life, scrutinised in every single way, we discovered that he was incredibly messed up, had a bad start, never grew up, struggling with mental problems etc. (and let's face it, he definitely was), then there'd never be anyone going "HAH WHAT A DICK!"

Anyone saying that is saying it because of money, and you've got your values all mixed up. Money can't buy you everything, and that includes fixing a broken mind. I guess that the people who do say that are the kind of people who think "Man, my life would be really complete if i just had an expensive car people would be jealous of!" And Jackson definitely deserves to be alive more than people like you right now.

At least he never celebrated someone's death, based off whatever media coverage you managed to stumble into, judging him off your own values.

personally i never believed he molested anyone...hes just fucking dumb and slept in the same bed as them..which he should have known is completely inappropriate. The fact that he's rich should give the benefit of the doubt, not the other way around. If a parent accused a homeless man of molesting her children, I have no reason not to believe her, because what motive does she have? She's going to lose money if it goes to court. However, when someone accuses someone with tens of millions of dollars, I tend to be just a little bit skeptical. Thanks for the music, Michael.

the guy has been dead for 20+ years inside. nothing was going to stop this cycle except his death. now the squabbling over money begins, and then eventually it will all pass.. and the music will remain great.
