So long eggs are apparently a thing and this is how they are made. The narration is entirely in German but it really doesn't matter.

Seems like a lot of trouble for a product that already comes in pretty good package.

this is ideal for making a gala pie. The traditional method is to cut the ends off eggs and lay them back to back, but there is egg waste and inconsistent amount of yolk in each slice.
