I had it done about a year ago. God, I'm glad I didn't see this video first. I'm happy with it. The most painful part was the squeezing ring. But pretty amazing that 20 minutes after surgery I walked home and could see perfectly.

Heh. I doubt lasik (and contacts) would work for my eyes because I get allergies (itchy and tearing eyes). I wear glasses only if I need to see at distance.

I'm in medical school and that even made me cringe a bit.

If you want truly gut-wrenching, look for either C-sections or orthopedic surgery. That'll really make you queasy!
