Though giant hornets still scare the living crap out of me, to see man and insect living in harmony, even in this one bizarre instance, makes me *happy. Dare I say their interaction (especially the honey-feeding) was *cute? Yes, I dare.

yeah, the hornet was only a pet for 7 months because after that time the hornet stung the hell out of its caretaker and flew away. the caretaker passed away.

Help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered.

It was only a pet for 7 months because he was fattening it up with honey to eat it! Giant Hornets are sooo yummy!!

they can smell fear, ya know!

I think a more accurate description would be that the wasp told it's pet it wanted some fresh air, and it's pet complied immediately.
