rottenseedsays...I liked when the gelatin was stretched and broke, then recoiled while sticking to the 3 dimensional objects.
Throbbinsays...I wonder what kind of hardware is necessary to use this in any practical application (videogames)?
Also, when are we going to see this in a videogame? I constantly yearn for realistic headshot spray.
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
Very impressive. Looking forward to seeing this in the Playstation 7. (New - with headjack controller!)
gwiz665says...Looks sweet. Is it real-time?
Truckchasesays...Hopefully nobody ever buys the rights to the API, cripples it, and makes it vendor-specific. Not like that would ever happen...
Tymbrwulfsays...The jiggly effect of CGI boobs will never be the same.
Stingraysays...About time technology was created for realistic virtual bukkake scenes.
Paybacksays...I knew 2 Girls 1 Cup was fake! (1:39)
juliovega914says...As someone who does a lot of fluid dynamics research, I got a hardon at 1:13
r10ksays...Some, very likely yes. The more complex stuff (particle meshing, etc) will be pre-computed.
I didn't expect to see this video here. Quite a few XSI/Softimage users are eagerly awaiting this. I know I am.

Fletchsays...Bunnies!
Arkaiumsays...I'm going to guess, completely unscientifically and based only on my knowledge of how long it's taken for us to get where we are with video game physics, that we're at least 5 years from anything like this in a video game, but it will probably happen within 10 (not the next console cycle, but possibly the one following). Could certainly be feasible on PCs in 5 years, but it's not like this kind of state-of-the-art tech is easily justified in a mainstream product. When only a small, tiny percentage of PCs have the beef to run it, why go through the extra effort?
Still, should be amazing to see what water effects look like a couple generations from now.
ex-jedisays...That was way better than The Last Airbender.

Stomach Flu is better than The Last Airbender.
