Jim Says Christian Leaders Will Be Murdered If Trump Loses

Jim Bakker warns that if Trump is not re-elected in 2020, Christian leaders and politicians will be murdered: "This is life and death."
newtboysays...

I'm so sick of this "polls were all wrong" lie. The polls all said he could be elected, it was within the margin of error, and if you count votes not the electoral college, they were dead on correct....Clinton won.

Now, since Christian preachers all now stump far right hate politics directly from the pulpit., can we remove their tax exemption and let Cesar have what belongs to Cesar?

Side note....he seems to be describing the rapture, Christians suddenly dying world wide and going to heaven....and he seems terrified about it. I can't imagine why.

Upvote for exposing what Christian preachers are telling their flock, inciting murder as preemptive self defense....not because I agree with his insanity.

BSRsays...

He is correct about who we will see suddenly die.

The problem he's suffering with is, he can't tell the difference between heaven & hell. God from the devil. Good from bad. Us from them. Truth from lies. Fantasy from reality. Love from hate.

But he HAS to say SOMETHING. His livelihood depends on it. At least he admits they keep losing in spite of Trump winning. And yet they keep running around in circles chasing their ass to catch their tales.

BSRsays...

There is only one world. And there are millions of them on earth.

EDIT: newt, if you can convert the billions of worlds on earth to millions for me, I would appreciate it. Math is not my best attribute.

...so if you could have that on my desk by around...

American church leaders dying left & right? yeah... I'd chalk them up as God smiting them for being false prophets.

I'm a Christian (Canadian), but I see American Christianity as a beast of its own. Nuts cases everywhere that rather get in bed with the NRA and the military complex than practice anything Christ says. Total madness.

You're good, it's just that the number of millions on Earth are into the thousands. Still technically millions. Just, you know, an awful lot of them.

Actually the number of worlds on Earth as of 5 minutes ago is 7,711,617,658 and that's just humans.

Maybe. Probably not. We just can't will it into non-existence regardless. My hypothetical concern is, say we do get rid of all religion (by what? Burn all the books? Put them all in an Island? Killing them all once and for all? I'd LOVE to know your methods... but hey, off topic), then what? Human by nature will believe and follow in something/someone... Chinese followed their religion-banning dear leader MZD to their deaths by the millions. Germans got played into Nazis by a charismatic madman that resulted in WWII... my point is, we can't let any harmful idealism fall into the hands of charismatic leaders that cause real harm and be silent. Star Wars (and its mortal religious rival Trekkies) is a registered, legit religion to some but mostly for fun and harmless. Trumpism is arguably a religion itself in America now, and alt-right ideals are spreading all over the world from its aftermath that's 100% harmful IMO.

Religion as a practice can do immense good & evil in equal measure. We should all do our part in not letting people in power weaponize religion.

"Its the biggest sham in human history. " IMO, it's people in (religious/political) power that twists religion into a sham. And continues to. I blame these people, not the religion. Don't let these douchebags have their way!

A lot of people (majority even) fails to put the words of these religious books into historical context. Civilizations and cultures
evolve. Societal practices and knowledge of the physical world too. Look into the intent and context, then it'll do good. Twist religion into self-serving gavel of judgement (to others, NEVER to oneself!) then nothing good will come of it.

"Just goes to show how stupid the sheeple are."

Thing is, people get into (and out of ) religion for all kinds of reasons. Calling them all sheeple and stupid isn't doing anyone good service, merely shows your narrow view of religion (and stereotyping people of faith) more than anything, no? It's as wrong as a priest calling atheists must be lacking of a moral compass.

I'm with you in your disdain for mindlessness.

Are there sheeple? OF COURSE. Are blind followers stupid? Yes to a degree. But IMO these sheeple are stupid not because they're into a faith, but follow the words and commands blindly of their faith leaders without thinking of the intentions and lacking a firm grasp of reality and consequences.

We need to eliminate sheeple mentality, religious absolutism and self-righteousness that disrespect others, that thinks one is better than others because of following a religion.

I'm fine calling out the ridiculous among them, I do so in my church. Just don't call and treat everyone a sheeple. Besides, sheeple is not exclusive to religion, there are Apple sheeple, celebrity sheeple, political sheeple. Do we treat all of these people as sheeple with disdain?

But man... it's extremely disheartening to see the state of religion in the USA. I can see why some people are so against it there. I seriously can't feel defensive about it if I'm a US citizen, because watching videos like these do make sensible people wanting to punch that guy. But how can people NOT see through the idiocy and out right ban/disown that shit? That's the most concerning to me of American Christianity.

But, without exception, that is EXACTLY what religions teach, that only those who believe correctly are correct and thus deserving of the supernatural rewards. It's how they excuse proselytizing, often with force. Can you name a real religion that says "we are the proper way to God, but other ways are just as valid."? (And I don't count individuals stating that, only the written texts that codify the beliefs).

Yes, we do treat those other people with disdain, those of us who don't buy into one or more flock that is.

They can't see through the hypocrisy and idiocy because religion/churches demand you not question your religious leaders, absolutely do not think for yourself. Don't try to interpret your dogma for yourself. Doing that leads directly to excommunication or much worse.

None of this is exclusive to Christianity, but in European/American culture it is most prevalent there.

Side question: What good has religion done that could not have been done better without it? Be specific please, with examples.

Even though I think the world would be FAR better off without religion I in no way advocate any purging of people that "believe" in that crap. But I would also like to not have asshat politicians (mostly Republican in the USA) trying to push their BS religious agenda's in govt, what happened to separation of church and state.... In God We Trust should be removed from anything govt related and any legislation better not have stuff in it because "it goes against my religion".

Considering that religion is a spinoff from the bible and the bible was created by artists, then their remains a puzzle.

Simply: God is love
God would be the character name of the person reading the book.

You are the creator of your world. Believe in yourself.

All you need is love. -Beatles

Love: Ingredients - Brain. Heart. Courage. -Wizard of Oz

Love with purpose.

So, instead of calling yourself, "GOD", I think "newt" would be perfect! After all you created it.

Be the star that others wish upon.

All that you taste
All you feel
And all that you love

All you distrust
All you save
And all that you give
And all that you deal
And all that you buy
Beg, borrow or steal
And all you create
And all you destroy
And all that you do
And all that you say
And all that you eat
And everyone you meet (everyone you meet)
And all that you slight
And everyone you fight
And all that is now
And all that is gone
And all that's to come

So 'Stranger in a Strange Land' style....Thou Art God?
Yeah....that still could have been better without God or religion at all...Smith and his cult caused tons of trouble, and don't get me started on the Fosterites.

So Christian leaders will be murdered after Trump loses? Wouldn't that be like taking antibiotics after you've recovered from an infection?

It's more like removing your gangrenous toes after removing the buckshot from your foot 4 years after you shot yourself.
Removing the source of infection doesn't fix the damage it's done.

Bakker is a loon but the video cuts off before he makes his point. I can only assume RWW shortened it to meet some agenda point.

However, don't let this get in the way of some good'ol'fashioned Christian bashing.

BTW, Churches are tax-exempt because they are nonprofits. However, they receive higher scrutiny from the IRS than other nonprofits and must provide more detail than other nonprofits to keep the status. Most rich preachers leverage their nonprofit fame to generate income in for-profit taxed ventures (books, videos, etc.). It's deplorable and immoral (IMHO) but not illegal.

newtboysays...

What drivel.

Baker made his point, you just recognize the idiocy of it so claim he must mean something else, but he means to have you believe exactly what he said....and he means to be instructing people from the pulpet on how to vote, something that until recently was considered illegal, but today it's fine so long as he's saying "vote Trump".

Churches aren't non profits, they simply claim that status because they are protected from having that status removed because "religion". There is NO scrutiny, not higher scrutiny. Name one recognized religion that's lost it's non profit status.
Edit: BTW, From the IRS-Churches that meet the requirements of IRC Section 501(c)(3) are automatically considered tax exempt and are not required to apply for and obtain recognition of tax-exempt status from the IRS. (Hardly more scrutiny, since there is no scrutiny at all)

Non profits don't pay their leaders millions, buy them multiple jet planes, build hundred million dollar buildings, or keep billions in assets while claiming to not be able to fulfill their mission statement for lack of funding. Preachers beg directly from the pulpit for money for their 5th jet plane God said they need... they don't get the money from side hustles, although they get money that way too, but that's their personal income (although it's often laundered through the church to avoid taxes).

Religions are non prophets....meaning they have, and follow no prophets as practiced.
