As to the issue at hand (HAHA pun), trapped arm seems to be a big problem for me and even the superman hurts after a while. I guess I'll just have to work on that stargazer bit...

I always had great success with the Superman. Though I usually lie my arm under the back edge of her pillow so it's not so outstretched above my head and thus eliminating the need to sleep so far down the bed. If I do have problems later, it's very easy to extract for recirculation purposes.

The Stargazer, as they put it, is very nice, but my mouth tends to fall agape, which leads both to horrible dry mouth and potential (or possibly inevitable) snoring.

LOL at the ending. Well, I am not married to a woman to do any of these. However, I still have to have problems with my arm/hand under my head or some weird positions to hurt. Ugh.

Star gazer is the best, with a slight modification. Instead of her resting her head on the "fleshy bit" alluded to in the video, pull the bottom left corner of the pillow you are using as your headrest onto your shoulder and over the fleshy bit.

This prevents any numbness on the shoulder, as well as automatically angling your pillow at the proper angle for your head when hers is below yours.

Too funny. If I had a dollar for every time this has happened . . .
I also recommend the Superman or Stargazer, although I'm not much of a back sleeper.

LOL @ the limp dead arm, and the shove off the bed! More quality stuff from the jug.

Lately I've found success with a technique not shown in the video. From spoon position, fold your bottom arm so that the elbow is pointing above your head and the hand comes down past your face. Lay the open hand on her back and you should have a fairly comfortable and sustainable position for sleeping. You only have to give up and inch or two of closeness on the upper bodies. Personally I love the stargazer... I seem to sleep better with a petite girl resting on my chest.

hug her for a bit then turn over, facing back to back, push bums together and hug with legs. sounds like it wouldn't be as good as stargazer, but actually it's really cool. just having some contact is more important than full on hugging imo. you can do what you want with your arms. just don't crush her legs under your athletic manly knees.

get a smaller/shorter gf. it works

This bites because I hate being the little spoon. I'm always the big spoon, just has to be that way. I just use superman.
